Grief never ends,
but it changes.
but it changes.
It is a passage,
not a place to stay.*
not a place to stay.*
Transformation is possible when we engage with the loss that we are mourning in a natural setting side by side with others who are on a similar path. At passage, peer counseling is merged with the healing power of the outdoors. Hiking together, being among the trees, under the sun and the stars, and doing reflective activities leads to refocus, release, and rootedness. The alchemy of transmuting grief is a process of turning the pain of grief into something positive and life-affirming.
By offering guided hikes and various outdoor experiences for teens, young adults, families, and all-ages groups, I want to support people finding a place where they can remember, process, and discover a path to healing.

I believe that:
- We have to engage with loss in order to heal.
- Community connections are powerful.
- Nature heals.
- Even in our sadness or sense of loss – beauty still exists.
- We need to accept death as a natural part of our lives.
